Updating an IEP

There will be times when an IEP Individualized Education Program needs to be updated. This process is usually managed by the special education manager or Aspen system administrator. The type of update that is needed determines how the change is made. Most special education users may need to:

• Amend an active IEP to change a service being provided to the student.
• View a list of all amendments made to an IEP.
• Renew an IEP by reviewing the student's progress and implement a new IEP.
